Be In the Moment

By Marty Nemko

Be in the moment: that phrase can make even a job search more pleasurable. Stop thinking back or ahead so much. Instead, try to immerse yourself in every little task--whether it's the puzzle of deciding what to say in your resume or the challenge of convincing a gatekeeper to let you talk with a prospective employer. Right now, I'm trying to enjoy the challenge of how to phrase this paragraph so it's helpful but not preachy (I'm not sure I solved the preachy problem.) One moment at a time: it's key to a successful career and a happy life.
