Become a Tutor?

Tutoring is a career that many people love. Many tutors wax rhapsodic about the close one-on-one relationships, the steady progress, and that you can start earning money without endless training. But how do you make a decent living as a tutor? Specialize. Favorite niches: students with attention deficit disorder, computers for seniors, math for girls, helping college-bound athletes find a college at which they can learn something, fit in, and play ball. Often, I give just one word of advice to people with patience, the ability to explain clearly, and motivate others: tutor.
