Don't Let Want Ads Scare You Off

Intimidating things: Arnold Schwarzeneggar, gang members, want ads. Want ads? The ads intimidate many job seekers; every job seems to require umpteen esoteric skills. There's good news: the ads are misleading. Most jobs never get advertised and the small percentage that do tend to be the hardest to fill; that is, they require umpteen esoteric skills. Only God would have all those skills. In addition, many employers deliberately beef up the requirements to keep the number of applicants at a manageable level. The reality: Most real-world jobs are less demanding than those described in ads. So relax. Even you can probably land a job.
