Finding the Courage to Change Jobs

You hate your job. Weeks pass, months pass, and you're still there, moaning. Try this. For the next month, gather new career options. Then pick the best one, write its advantages and disadvantages compared with the status quo, and just decide--pretend someone put a gun to your head and said, "Choose or die!" Friendly advice: Don't hold out for instant ecstasy: happiness in a career usually happens after you've gotten into the job. Like sex, there are some things you just have to do to fully appreciate.
