Getting On Your Boss's Good Side

Unless your boss is a true Attila, there's a simple way to curry his favor. Just figure out what makes the boss crazy and what makes her happy. Often it's simple things such as promptness, being kept apprised, making personal revelations, complaining, telling a white lie, long stories, constructive criticism, detailed reports, or shoot-from-the-hip comments.

What can you do today?
Watch what makes your boss happy and crazy, write them down, and, where possible, act accordingly. I can already smell a raise coming on.
